  12. Do you think that the Toolbox in Photogenics looks crap? I do (sorry Paul)
  13. and for a long time I put up with it.  Eventually I got so fed up with it
  14. that I decided to create my own replacement.

  16. I created this in Sept 96, but at that time I did not have access to the
  17. Internet. Anyway, now and do have and here you have it!

  29. 1) Rename 'tools.hi' in 'Photogenics:Data/' to 'tools.hi_old' or similar.

  31. 2) Copy my replacement 'tools.hi' into 'Photogenics:Data/'.

  34. Usage

  37. Start PGS and select a High Resolution screen mode.  Ideally you will be
  38. using a 24Bit CyberGFX screen, but if like me you've only got an A1200 with
  39. no Zorro slots (come on Phase 5 - sort it out!) you will have to settle for
  40. less.

  42. I alway run PGS in PAL:Hires at 724x283 (Text Size) and the toolbox just
  43. fits on the screen.

  45. Select 'Large Toolbar' from the preferences menu.  Save the changes, quit
  46. and then run PGS again.

  52. I don't think that it will work with any pre-2 version of PGS?  However I
  53. don't think it would take that much of a modification to do so.  If you
  54. can't do this yourself, then mail me (robert.wilson@bigfoot.com) and I'll
  55. install V1.2a again and give it a go for you.

  61. As you probably know already Almathera are no longer!  When I first heard
  62. this I was saddened to think that the development of PGS would end.  With
  63. any luck this will not be so...  Things are looking very promising thanks
  64. to the original author of version 1 - Paul Nolan.  He is currently
  65. working on a new version called 'Photogenics X'.  Visit Paul's homepage for
  66. more info on this project and to read how he was treated by Almathera...
